EXAMINATION SUCCESS – GCSE RESULTS SUMMER 2025
Congratulations and well done to the class of 2025 on their results this year. Year 11 GCSE Results Day is always a cause for celebration and we were delighted to welcome our students back and celebrate their achievements with them and their families on Thursday 21st August. We are proud of our students' achievements and would like to thank our staff for their hard work in supporting our students’ achievements.
We are pleased to announce that our results are above the Manchester high school averages for all key headline measures and there have been improvements across many subject areas. Our Maths GCSE results at grades 9-5, for example, are 11% above the Manchester average.
Attainment 8: 4.6
Percentage of students achieving a strong pass (9 – 5) in English and maths: 46.4%
Percentage of students achieving a standard pass (9 – 4) in English and maths: 67.3%
Percentage of students entering for the EBACC: 29.4%
Percentage of students achieving a strong pass for the EBACC: 13.7%
Percentage of students achieving a standard pass for the EBACC: 20.9%
EBacc Average Points Score per student: 3.9%
The percentage of students who have gained 9-5 in both English and Mathematics has risen by 3.6%. The gap between PP and Non-PP attainment has reduced significantly.
