Loreto
High School
Loreto High School is a small Catholic voluntary aided school under the trusteeship of the Diocese of Salford. We are proud to be part of the unique 400 year old Loreto educational tradition of academic and personal excellence and work closely with other Loreto schools and colleges for the benefit of all Loreto students. Being part of the Loreto Education Network is a joyous privilege. Our school is a community where each person has the experience of being loved and valued as a sacred individual. Ours is very much a personal approach tailored to each child’s needs. Loreto students enjoy an enriching and liberating education that helps them grow into the fullness of life and our enrichment opportunities are unparalleled. Loreto students are fully engaged in the life of the school and wider community, have won many awards and accolades and experienced Oxbridge success. Our community embraces the values of freedom, justice, sincerity, truth and joy and we aim to ‘stretch hearts as well as minds’ through our curriculum and enrichment offer.
We were inspected by Ofsted in January 2019 and are proud to be a Good school. In our Section 48 inspection in March 2020 we were judged to be Good school with Outstanding Features. We are committed to working with parents to ensure the best Catholic education in Manchester and to support every child to fulfil their potential. As the parent of a Year 7 boy said, ‘we made the right choice in sending our son to Loreto. It’s been an amazing first year for him!’ We invite you to come and see for yourself!
