Welcome to all our Year 6 students and their parents/ carers who will be joining the Loreto family in September 2024.
Miss McLaughlin: Director of Academic Excellence
Mr Scott: Director of Ethos & Behaviour Key Stage 3
Miss Jessica Harrop: Head of Transition
We are delighted to welcome you to the Loreto Family!
Our roles involve greeting you at the door every day, coming around to your lessons to ensure you are on track, and guiding you through your first year of high school.
The Head of Year 7 role involves ensuring you are happy and well in school. You will see him throughout the day and he is available for a chat before school, breaktime, lunchtime and after school.
We really hope you take the opportunity to be involved in some of our many extra-curricular clubs including debate, dance, table tennis, football, choir, samba band, orchestra, steel pans, DJ club, rock band, string group, drama/music theatre club and many more!
There is also the chance to play an active role in our school and work with other students to make a difference. You could join our vibrant Chaplaincy Group, campaign and raise money for good causes by joining the Justice & Peace Group, or join the award-winning Loreto Student Council and set up your own action group focussed on something you are passionate about.
Look out for the Transition Events, the Loreto Newsletter, and Welcome Card which we will be sending you as your journey to success at Loreto begins.
